It is made of strong polyester. The kit comes with 2 thick ropes to hang the hammock and 2 metal carabiners. It comes in a compact bag that won't get lost as it is sewn to the size of the hammock. Once hung, the bag can be a handy pocket for sunglasses, sunscreen, or a book. The size of the hammock can accommodate 2 users at the same time. The maximum load allowed is 180 kg.
